Johanna Olson

Johanna Olson, MD is an Adolescent Medicine physician specializing in the care of transgender and gender non-conforming children and adolescents. Board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Olson has been an Assistant Professor at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for the past three years. Dr. Olson has spoken on several occasions and in multiple venues about gender non-conforming and transgender youth. She recently received a two year research grant to continue scientific studies in the area of transgender medical treatment. She has appeared on ABC’s 20/20 and The Dr. Phil show to educate audiences about the needs of transgender youth.
