SJ Langer

SJ Langer, LCSW-R is a writer and psychotherapist in private practice in New York City with a BFA from School of Visual Arts and an MSW from New York University. In addition to Trans* Health, his practice specializes in trauma, mood & anxiety disorders, sexuality, immigration issues and people in the arts. He also conducts trainings on Trans* Health and LGBT issues in clinical practice for professionals and graduate schools. Recent presentations have been at the 2013 Philadelphia Trans Health Conference, 2012 ICP-GLAP, 2014 WPATH. He is on the Executive Committee for Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy’s Gay and Lesbian Affirmative Therapy division and planning committees for the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference.
