Scott Loren Moore
Scott Loren Moore is a consultant for the NYC Department of Education, where he manages the development of online professional development for teachers. He taught middle school English full-time at a district school in Brooklyn and then part-time through the Liberty LEADS program at Bank Street School of Education before moving into adult education and teaching teachers at Relay Graduate School of Education. During this time he worked on staff at Teach For America, focusing on professional recruitment and Diversity & Inclusiveness initiatives. He independently facilitates workshops on inclusivity, diversity, and cultural competence and has published pieces on LGBTQ issues and identities for a number of publications, including the anthology Homofiles, Rethinking Schools, and I’m From Driftwood.
